· Vimy Ridge Day is an annual observance on April 9 to remember Canadians who victoriously fought in the battle of Vimy Ridge in northern France during the First World War. The day is also known as the National Day of Remembrance of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
Godspeed to the four astronauts: Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, who are scheduled to return on April 10th from their mission around the moon.

This weekend, April 10-12th, the Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce will host the Great Canadian Trade Fair at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park.
April 19 - 25th is National Volunteer Week in Canada, and Volunteer Strathcona will be hosting the Volunteer Fair on April 21st at the Strathcona County Community Centre. There are 50+ non-profit organizations offering various volunteer opportunities.
Saturday, April 18 - Free Clothing Exchange: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Sherwood Park Alliance Church.
